Originally launched as Atlantic City Race Week, the Heart Cup remains New Jersey’s premier offshore sailing regatta. For more than 30 years, some of the region’s best sailors compete in both class and handicap fleet racing. Even more impressive than the keen competition are the hundreds of thousands of dollars that have been raised for Heart related charities over the years. This year the Ocean City Yacht Club’s charity gala, The Heart Ball will take place August 8th 2009 benefiting Shore Memorial Hospital's Cardio Vascular Institute.
