Membership applications are obtained through members who sponsor an applicant or from the Membership Chairperson. The Chairperson can be reached by email at the address listed below. The completed application is returned along with the sponsor and seconder recommendations (sponsors and seconders may not be in the same membership), whereupon an applicant’s interview will be scheduled as required by the Club Bylaws. Membership interviews should be concluded by April in order for a new applicant to enjoy the Club’s Spring activities. Following the interview, the applicant names will be published internally within the club and subsequently submitted to the Board of Governors for consideration. Since the OCYC Bylaws limit the number of voting members to 400, a significant number of applications may be carried to the ensuing year for reconsideration.
