The mission of the OCYC Junior Sailing Program is to promote a love of sailing as a life-long sport while also providing the fundamental skills necessary for participants to advance in the sport. Our program provides a fun and educational summer experience for all kids ages interested in sailing and dingy racing.
The Ocean City Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program is an eight-week summer season sailing program that emphasizes fun, friendship, learning, knowledge, safety, and competition for young sailors ages 8 to 18. It offers instruction that follows a specified sequence, with various tracks to meet the different skills, needs, and interests of junior sailors.
All members of the junior sailing program become members of the Yacht Club either through their family membership or through a junior membership. For more about membership click here.
